WILLSTOVALL

IMG_1747.jpg

Will Stovall is from Roberts, Montana, and has been hunting for as long as he can remember. In fact, he says his toys growing up were a .22 and a knife and his favourite animal to this day is a mule deer. He has been guiding for over ten years and is one of the most honest men you will ever meet, with a passion for ethical harvest and wildlife conservation.

Will came to Milliron in 2015, thanks to a phone call from a mutual friend he shares with Reese Clarkson. Reese, who Will didn't know at the time, was in a bind and a needed a guide for the upcoming season. Will headed to South Dakota without hesitation and the rest is history. When the opportunity presented itself for Will to take over Milliron Outfitters in 2022, it was a no-brainer.

Will was drawn to Milliron because of the low impact made on wildlife due to a limited number of spots available for clients each season. With fewer clients in camp, Will is able to create a personal experience for each hunter, getting to know them better and often creating lifelong friendships in the process.

When he's not guiding or hunting for himself, Will can be found helping one of his friends with any number of tasks, or spending time in Canada with his wife, Jenna.

RONHALVERSON

Ron Halverson is a fifth generation Montana rancher who brings a wealth of hunting experience and knowledge to the Milliron team. He cut his teeth in guiding doing horseback hunts in the Bob Marshall wilderness of Montana for a number of years.

Ron's devotion and respect for the land and its wildlife are a direct link to our management practices, making him a perfect fit for our operation.

When not guiding or working on the family ranch, Ron enjoys skiing, backpack hunting in the mountains and spending quality time outdoors with his wife and kids.

RILEYLOEN

Riley Loen is the newest member of the Milliron team, and has quickly proven to be a great asset to both clients and our operation.

Hailing from Seattle, Riley grew up hunting and experiencing everything Washington's outdoors had to offer. When he's not hunting, he enjoys spending his free time snowmobiling and racing cars.

Riley attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings on a four year golf scholarship, earning his Bachelors of Science in Sports Management and aspires to become a Game Warden.
